Siwar Masannat is an Arab writer from Jordan. She holds degrees from the University of Jordan and George Mason University. Her poetry collection, 50 Water Dreams, chosen by Ilya Kaminsky, was published by Cleveland State Poetry Center in 2015. Siwar is a co-founder of Gazing Grain Press, an inclusive feminist chapbook publisher. She is currently pursuing a PhD in poetry at the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Her poems have appeared in Denver Quarterly, VOLT, and The Journal, among others.
From Los Angeles, Broc Rossell lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, where he teaches in the English and Humanities departments at Simon Fraser University. A graduate of the Iowa Writers Workshop and the University of Denver, his writing has appeared in 1913, Boston Review, Harvard Review, jubilat, Los Angeles Review of Books, and VOLT, among other venues. Festival (Cleveland State University Poetry Center, 2015) is his first book.
